I agree, if i ever am remotely in the area i make a special trip to Vlado's. The pizza there is probably the best i've had in DFW. Stromboli's are exceptional. the crust is simply the best, like a biscuit texture. I would recommend this over any pizza place in the area. Best of all it's the shortest wait to get your food. even if they mess up your order an hour before superbowl time you're probably going to get it b4 the game starts.

Breakfast ideas for your weekends around Dallas.

If you like Eggs Benedict, try the ones at La Duni. Incredible!

Also, new place in Casa Linda area called "Another Broken Egg." I highly recommend the Southern Crab Stack for sheer heaven on a skillet.

Me and my family, six in all, ate at Coopies on a Sunday afternoon. It took 10-15 minutes for us to get seated. That didn't bother me too much. We ordered our meals and were brought the salad first. So, we all ate our salads and were ready to wait for the main course. Little did we know that AN HOUR AND A HALF later we would receive our food. I am by no means kidding we waited 90 minutes to get our food! If that wasn't bad enough my food was of a lukewarm temperature when it finally came out. With this kind of service I don't foresee a long future for this unfortunate restaurant.

Princeton is typical of most small texas towns with a history involving the railroad for development. Texas towns that did not grant land and allow the railroad were left to die out, while those towns that welcomed the railroad grew and prospered.

I found this page looking for Jack Tar Galveston. First stayed there on my Honeymoon in 1956 and for years went every summer - great memories of a great place - wonderful cafeteria style breakfast. Sorry to see it gone but it was on prime real estate.
