Annual ‘Stars and Stripes’ Children’s Parade at Vista Ridge Mall

Hey kids, come celebrate America’s birthday!

Uncle Sam will lead a parade of decorated trikes and strollers at 10:00 a.m.; Kid’s Club with red-white-and-blue activities start immediately after.

Independence Day is an all-American holiday and Vista Ridge Mall invites all area children to decorate tricycles, strollers and wagons and join Uncle Sam in the annual ‘Stars and Stripes’ Parade. Uncle Sam will lead the children through the shopping center as shoppers and visitors line the route, waving and clapping.

The ‘Stars and Stripes parade’ begins at 10:00 a.m. and afterwards Vista Ridge Mall’s Kid’s Club will keep the spirit going with patriotic-themed activities for children to enjoy. The free, hour-long Kid’s Club will features activities and games designed for children eight and under, on the lower level in the Hexagon Center Court.

The ‘Stars and Stripes’ Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. and participants should gather 9:30 a.m. at Center Court, near Panera Bread. Children on tricycles, wagons and in strollers are invited to participate; sorry, no bicycles unless they have training wheels.

On Saturday, July 4, Vista Ridge Mall will open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. On Sunday, the mall will observe regular hours from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. Please note that department stores, restaurants and entertainment venues at the shopping center may observe different hours.
