M Cafe, North Dallas


Here's another newly opened restaurant that we've been wanting to try out - M Cafe on Coit Road at Arapaho in Dallas. Run by the same folks that operated the now defunct and really missed Atlanta Bread Company, also in Richardson, does offer similar fare - sandwiches, salads, soups, baked goods and coffees.

We stopped in early yesterday morning and each got their breakfast combos. With that you get your choice of bread - bagel, croissant or toast; choice of cheese - Swiss, American or Provolone; and your choice of meat with egg & cheese. A cup of coffee makes it the combo and at $3.99, it's a good price.

 I made mine a croissant with Swiss, honey maple ham and egg. RJ chose the bagel with cheddar, the same honey maple ham and egg.

Both were stuffed full of very fresh ingredients. My croissant was light and flaky. RJ's plain bagel was nicely toasted and chewy.

There were a few other folks in while we were eating and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. I'll be anxious to go back and try a sandwich or maybe their Cran-Apple-Blue Salad.

Righteous prices, good food and a staff that aims to please- hopefully this will be a winning combination for M Cafe!
