A few weekends ago, we were heading to Firewheel shopping center in Garland and took the long way, causing us to drive by the newly opened Chiloso in Wylie. It looked intriguing plus it was about 9:30am when we passed by and it was open- a good sign....another breakfast spot for us to try. Well, try, we indeed did and found Chiloso to be better than expected.

The format there is similar to Chipotle or Flying Burrito - you decide if you want a burrito, tacos, salad, nachos, etc., then pick your meat and assorted fillings.

However, we  visited at breakfast and found plenty to choose from ....breakfast tacos, migas, "Bueno Dillas", breakfast platters, and then my choice "Avocados by Morning" - grilled avocado halves filled with chorizo & eggs, roasted green chilies and jack cheese, served with breakfast potatoes & refried beans. Those grilled avocados were absolute heaven. Their flavor was really intensified by the heat, plus you can grill most anything and I will like it  

RJ picked the Breakfast Platter, consisting of chorizo or barbacoa (he went with barbacoa), scrambled eggs, potatoes and refried beans. Chips and salsas come with your order and the salsas - all five of them - were great. My fav was the Bella Blanca, a ranch style sauce with jalapeno & lime - very tasty.
