The Blue Goose in Addison
Sunday was another fun day. Since we didn't make it to The Blue Goose in Addison on Saturday (they weren't open yet when we arrived), we headed back on Sunday to get in on their weekend brunch.
They offer several dishes ... migas, chilaquiles, breakfast tacos, huevos rancheros, and lots more. They also had some new dishes on the menu yesterday and one sounded very intriguing to me - Tamale Omelet with your choice of a Blue Goose tamale (chicken) or a pork tamale. I went with the Blue Goose tamale. This was a huge four egg, fluffy omelet with a thick & meaty chicken tamale and lost of Monterey Jack cheese stuffed inside. Absolutely delicious! It was served with chunky, red skinned mashed potatoes, cut up fresh fruit and two hot biscuits with a bowl of cream gravy.
RJ tried their Carne Asada & Heuvos (Mexican grilled steak & eggs) and was in hog heaven. The steak was large and grilled with that wonderful fajita taste. He also was served the same mashed potatoes, fresh fruit and biscuits with gravy. Plus they brought the standard basket of chips and bowls of salsa. This was a meal fit for a king & queen
Blue Goose is a very laid back place. We sat on the covered patio because the weather was so pleasant - the tables out there are picnic tables with benches. Everything there is CASUAL. But you will love it.
Blue Goose has three locations - Addison, Plano and Lower Greenville.
