One of our favorite things to listen to on the radio is "Europe Today with Hermann Bockelmann". The show comes on KAAM 770 Friday evenings from 6pm-8pm (well, those hours vary if there is a high school footbal game being broadcast) and the DJ, Hemann Bockelmann, is such an eccentric character, you can help but like him or, at the least, be very intrigued by him. We've begun to look forward to hearing Hermann's thick German accent (it's pretty unmistakable) and his laugh.

He might play anything but the show mostly consists of European waltzes, overtures, chantueses, show music and then, of course, the Bockelmann editorial comments and tirades! Hermann is apt to go off on a story he's read in the news or perhaps a current topic. Whatever it is, he can be quite opinionated - and entertaining.

For those who can't get enough Bockelmann, KAAM Legends 770 radio has begun to also carry "BOB" (Best of Bockelmann) throughout the day to tide you over until Friday evenings.  

KAAM also offers many other fine programs- especially for 50 something's on up. Try Cruisin' Al's Saturday Sock Hop and remember if you call in for your favorite song, you have to 'suggest', not 'request'. Al's insistent on that
