We have passed by this place many times on our outings and for whatever reason, maybe we had already eaten or didn't have time, we never stopped. Until recently.

Lakeway BBQ in Wylie fits the bill!  Located at the corner of Parker Rd (FM 2514) and Country Club Rd, here sits this tiny little 'shack' but inside, a real treat awaits. We got beef sandwiches. I like chopped beef, RJ got sliced....added a couple of cold drinks and we were set. This is REAL bbq. Smoky, wonderful goodness.
